Howard Poston is a cybersecurity professional by training. He earned a Masters of Cyber Operations at the United States Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). He also holds a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification among other cybersecurity-related certifications.
After graduation from AFIT, Poston worked for two years at Sandia National Labs in cybersecurity research and development. He was involved in a variety of different projects there that touched on cryptography, malware analysis, network traffic analysis, and more.
For the past several years, Poston has worked as a freelance cybersecurity consultant, content creator, and trainer. He has developed blog articles, eBooks, whitepapers, and other content on cyber and blockchain security topics for a number of different organizations.
On the training side, Poston has created over a dozen online courses on cybersecurity and blockchain topics. This includes a number of courses focused on secure development and on securing blockchain-based systems.
When not working, Poston enjoys reading and working outside.
