Greg Brodt is a cybersecurity and information technology instructor at Northwood Technical College’s Rice Lake campus. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, he specializes in networking, information security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, threat hunting, intrusion detection, wireless technologies, and digital forensics.
Greg holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis in digital design from the University of Minnesota. He has taught Cisco Networking Academy courses for more than 25 years and serves as a Cisco IT Essentials instructor trainer. His past and current industry certifications include CCNA, Cisco CyberOps, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and PenTest+, as well as wireless networking credentials.
In addition to teaching, Greg remains connected to the technology industry through consulting and continuing professional training. His practical, certification-focused approach helps students build the technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed for careers in networking and cybersecurity.
