This program provides the core skills needed to enter the cybersecurity field or pursue a graduate study in cybersecurity without necessarily completing a full degree program. This program can be completed in a year or less. Students will be taught how to illustrate IT security solutions and a working knowledge of computer networks. 

Baltimore City Community College cybersecurity and assurance certificate

The BCCC cybersecurity and assurance certificate program is on-site at the institution’s facility at 2901 Liberty Heights Avenue, Baltimore. The program provides a hands-on learning experience in understanding the threats, security assessments, and strategies needed to combat security vulnerabilities using modern technology. The program also prepares students for security certifications. 

SANS cloud penetration testing (GCPN certification)

This hands-on cyber security course is available to live online or on-site at 110 South Eutaw Street, Baltimore. Students can receive a GCPN certification after completion, which may attract extra charges.

This advanced certificate training lasts six days. It equips students with cloud-focused penetration testing techniques, how to access cloud environments, and tactics for penetration testing.
